Aliness Lion's Mane is a dietary supplement in capsule form containing Hericium erinaceus extract. The extract is double standardised to contain 40% polysaccharides and 20% beta-glucans. Each capsule provides 400 mg of extract. HPMC capsules are suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Does not contain: GMOs, gluten, soya, lactose, added sugar, flavourings or colourings.

What is Lion's Mane?

Lion's Mane, or Hericium erinaceus, is a species of mushroom found in deciduous forests with old tree stands, growing mainly on the trunks of old oaks and beeches. Hericium erinaceus produces fruiting bodies with a characteristic fluffy appearance, resembling a lion's mane – hence the common name Lion's Mane.

The fruiting bodies of Hericium erinaceus contain polysaccharides, including beta-glucans, as well as sterols and minerals, including trace elements.
